We all know the purpose it serves. 


So why in the heck do the commercials end with the supposedly naked couple in two SEPARATE bathtubs? How's that going to work? I'm not saying get graphic, but come on now... TWO bathtubs?

If the powers that be are so worried about viewers' sensibilities and want to be coy, end with the dressed couple holding hands. Everyone would get the point. IMHO, the bathtub shtick is not coy, just plain dumb.


That is all. I promise not to bitch about the creepy Quiznos commercial with the singing kittens wearing clothes. You know you think they are scary too. Admit it.

Way Overdue Update

Well.

Apparently I am the world's worst at keeping up with the blogging. I keep forgetting I even have a blog. Yeah, seriously.

Reason I remember I have one? Well, I needed somewhere to kvetch about how badly AutoCAD has been treating me today. The blasted program shut it self down before I could hit save 3 times. That's not counting the times it crapped out on me when I did get a chance to hit save.

I have found that my health issues are probably not related to that Parvovirus B19 after all. The jury is still out on what it really is. Do you know how long you have to wait to see specialists? I wonder if people don't die just from the waiting to get an appointment...

Excuses, Excuses....

So my latest excuse for not keeping up with this blog thing? Been under the weather a wee bit. The evidence (symptoms) strongly suggest that Parvovirus B19 is the culprit. Still have to get the blood test to prove it.

One good thing is that I don't have any of the risk factors that could make this a serious illness. Granted, feeling like I have arthritis in all my joints is not my idea of a good time, but it will eventually go away. It is very painful, uncomfortable, and darned inconvenient, but I don't feel I can really complain too much.

I look at it this way: it could have been something permanent. Now, that would really bite.

I Won The Lottery! Wait...It Was Just A Dream. Sorry.

Just this moment, I remembered I have a blog and my tepid promise to myself to actually use it.


Unfortunately, I really have nothing to say for myself. Same old, same old... still cold/snowy/rainy here and I still haven't won the lottery or come across any other source of  obscene amounts of money.

Pretty boring, huh? Hence the title - figured I'd give this post something interesting.

I will attempt find a more exciting life before my next post. Does anyone know where I can pick one up?
