Quote For The Day

Quote(s) For The Day

Saw this quote today:

Do not regret growing older - it's a privilege denied to many.

Then I saw these two with a similar theme:

Anyone can make the simple complicated. Creativity is making the complicated simply.
~ Charles Mingus

If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.

Random TV Commercial Pondering

We all know the purpose it serves.

So why in the heck do the commercials end with the supposedly naked couple in two SEPARATE bathtubs? How's that going to work? I'm not saying get graphic, but come on now... TWO bathtubs?

If the powers that be are so worried about viewers' sensibilities and want to be coy, end with the dressed couple holding hands. Everyone would get the point. IMHO, the bathtub shtick is not coy, just plain dumb.

That is all. I promise not to bitch about the creepy Quiznos commercial with the singing kittens wearing clothes. You know you think they are scary too. Admit it.
